Character Dynamics
RelationShips
In NRG there are many relationships as a lot of them have found a deeper bond with one another, here are a list of the confirmed canon relationships; Axol and Melony, Sonic and Saiko, Luigi and Tari, Mario and Meggy, Knuckles and Rouge, Shadow and Amy, N and Uzi, Jax and Ragatha, Pomni and Gummigoo, Silver and Blaze, and lastly, Zooble and Gangle.
There are also many people who have a close bond who are close to being together such as; Nick and Rosalina, Willow and Espio, SMG4 and Peach, and there is also other situations like Ella and Karen, where Ella has a huge crush on Axol and Karen's ex husband, Mr. WPNZ, is dead.
Friendships
There are many characters who are closer than others and ones that really stand out as they are a big cast so its already a big family as is. Sonic's still super close with Tails and Knuckles, but he is also brothers with Axol and Nick, those three have become inseparable. Axol is also close friends with Ella as well as Tari. Nick is close with Meggy and Mario they seem like best friends. Mario and Luigi are close obviously, but Luigi is close with Espio, Melony and Willow, and Mario is close with Nick, Caine, Tails, Magikoopa and Metal Sonic. Melony is besties with Tari, Meggy, Peach, Luigi, Willow, and Espio. Espio is closest with Vector and Charmy as they are the Team Chaotix. Ella also is close with Tari, Meggy and Boomerang Bro, however she is besties with Peach. Steve is closest with Luigi and Boomerang Bro.
As you can see they're many different relationships and friendships in the series, and there is even more we haven't mentioned, however those are the most prominent and frequently seen thus far.
BIG EVENTS
The crew have gone through many adventures and situations, however there has been some that are note worthy such as; after Axol died in SMG4 he was transported to NRG's world, meeting Sonic and the others, A Sinister version of Axol was sent to the crew and tried to blow up the castle, Eggman tried to go back to being a villain and kill the cast and take over the kingdom.
They met Nick searching for a relic that possessed Shadow and turned out to be Mephiles, he then tries to erase all of time and space. Sonic and Tari bring over the SMG4 cast to the NRG world reuniting Melony and Axol, but brought back the god box with them causing Niles to try to destroy the world. The G.U.N raids the castle and their new leader, Whisk, she makes them all agree to being properly set out when threats occur and being monitored by them, as they see the crew as threats all in one castle.

Nick explains his past about his previous crew, as he used to work for a government with his own team, which ended in them going against a powerful foe, killing them all and leaving Nick with one arm. The crew meets Willow and tries to show her what friendship and trust is like, while Whisk mentions she knows of her past. Tari feels like she adds nothing to the crew then Mr. Puzzles infiltrate's the castle and makes them all star in his parodies. Willow's past has been slowly coming back to bite her and is struggling to find out what to do to resolve it.
